SSP Muhammad Shoaib of the Safe City Project revealed the vehicles feature Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and facial recognition cameras, integrating criminal records.

These cameras identify suspects instantly during snap checks.

Furthermore, the technology can also issue alerts for e-challan violations, enabling swift action.

Moreover, the victims of a crime can describe criminals, and the system generates matching pictures for quick response.

The smart-cars aid in addressing complaints of vehicle theft, with police units promptly notified.

Comprehensive training has been provided to Islamabad police officials in utilizing this advanced technology for effective law enforcement.
