The Islamabad Police has announced a massive increase in traffic violation fines in Islamabad and urged people to be more careful.
According to the details, the Islamabad Police has increased the traffic violation fines in order to ensure passenger’s road safety and strict adherence to traffic regulations.
Now, there will be a traffic fine of Rs. 5,000 for one-wheeling, while a fine of Rs. 2,500 be issued for driving under the age of 18 years.
For over-speeding, there will be a traffic fine of Rs. 1,500 for motorcar, Rs. 2,500 for heavy vehicles, Rs. 1,000 for motorcycle, and Rs. 2,000 for Public Service Vehicles (PSV).
Furthermore, if anyone is driving without a valid license, a traffic violation fine of Rs. 8,000 will be charged for heavy vehicles (HTV) and public service vehicles (PSV), Rs. 2,500 for motorcar, and Rs. 1,000 for motorcycle.
Meanwhile, some other traffic violation fines will be charged to Islamabad citizens, which are mentioned below.
- Illegal Parking – Rs. 1,000
- One-Wheeling – Rs. 5,000
- Tinted Windows – Rs. 1,500
- Reckless Driving – Rs. 2,000
- Under Age Driving – Rs. 2,500
Recently, the National Highway and Motorway Police (NHMP) also announced a massive hike in the traffic violation fines across the country.
