The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has issued a detailed Traffic Plan for 8th Muharram, which is going to be observed tomorrow (7 August 2022).
According to the Islamabad Traffic Plan for Sunday (7 August 2022), the authorities have placed several diversions along the route of processions for 8th Muharram.
UPDATE: Islamabad Traffic Plan For 9 Muharram (8 August 2022)
Several points along the route of procession will be closed in Sector G-7/2 and G-9/2 for the Muharram Processions.
According to the Islamabad Traffic Plan for 7 August 2022, the procession for 8th Muharram will begin 8:00PM at Ali Masjid (G-7/2) and end at 10:00PM at the location after covering a distance of 4 kilometers, while procession for G-9 will begin after Zohar Prayers and end after Maghrib Prayer after covering 3 kilometers.
