Another flight attendant from Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has gone missing in Canada, raising the total number of missing staff from the national airline to 14.
According to details, the series of disappearances of PIA flight attendants on the Toronto route continues without interruption.
The latest case involves Noor Sher, a member of the 16-member flight attendant team assigned to flight PK 781 from Pakistan to Toronto, Canada.
It is reported that the missing flight attendants have applied for asylum in Canada.
In a related case, a female flight attendant currently detained in Toronto had been assigned to the Toronto route more than ten times. Despite specific instructions against her assignment to the Toronto flight, she was repeatedly scheduled for duty.
There has been little progress in the investigation to identify those responsible for the repeated assignment of air hostess Hina Sani, who remains in Toronto.
Both the aviation ministry and PIA have set up separate committees to investigate these incidents.
A PIA spokesperson confirmed that all previously missing flight attendants have been terminated from their positions. Departmental action has also begun regarding Noor Sher’s case.
The Ministry and Airline Inquiry Committees are still awaiting reports on the appointment of air hostess Hina Sani.
