Apple has announced to donate to relief and recovery efforts being taken on the ground in Pakistan following the severe flooding in across the country.
The announcement was made by Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, on Twitter. who said that Apple will donate towards the flood relief and recovery efforts being taken on the ground in Pakistan.
“The floods in Pakistan and surrounding areas are devastating humanitarian disasters. Our thoughts are with those that have lost loved ones, the many displaced families, and all those affected.” Tim Cook wrote. “Apple will donate to relief and recovery efforts on the ground.” he added.

Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal, thanked Cook for the support, adding that Pakistan, which has the lowest carbon emission is facing brunt of global warming with 33 million people displaced for no fault of its. He went on to say that G-7, OECD, and Fortune 100 must realize their responsibility and help in fighting the calamity.
