August 14 Independence Day Celebration Islamabad 2016

14th August, the Independence Day marks one the most important days in the life of every Pakistani citizen and in order to remember the importance of freedom, the nation celebrates the day with utmost zeal. Officially the day is started with hoisting the national flag at Presidency and Parliament House followed by a 31 Gun Salute in Federal Capital and 21 Guns Salute in all provincial capitals.

But the nation starts celebrating the day at 12 am (pre-celebrations start half hour early). Islamabad is the capital of Pakistan and a residence of people from Gilgit to Gwadar. Pakistanis here are celebrating with fireworks and decorations all over the city.

However it was observed that although everyone had decorated, Ufone and PEMRA building were not showing any signs of happiness.
