ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) in connection with its ongoing anti-encroachment drive conducted several operations on Thursday and demolished several illegal constructions and encroachments
Action against encroachments established by the buildings/institutions on the right of way or beyond the plot line along the major avenues of the city is being carried out vigorously.
In this connection, teams of Enforcement Directorate in light of demarcation carried out by the Land Survey and BCS continue its operation along Jinnah Avenue and demolished one (01) cabin room, three (03) washrooms, one Kitchen and wall illegally constructed by the OGDCL on the state land.
Similarly, boundary wall along with an iron grill, one canteen hall and a shed illegally constructed in front of shaheed-e-millat building, security cabin of state life building, illegally erected fence by State Life Building No. 6, barriers, shed and fence from the out gate of the media house and other encroachments established by the different buildings were demolished. Similarly, barricade, flower and plant pots and other encroachments from the surroundings of HBL Building and JS Bank Building were also removed.
During the operations conducted on Thursday in sector G-9, one (01) wood tall, two (02) rooms and one (01) chapper hotel and three (03) construction material depots were dismantled removed. Similarly, illegal fruit stalls front the double road G-9 and G-9 Markaz has also been removed.
