ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police has started operation against Tehreek e Labbaik (TLP) Protestors in Tramri chowk area in Islamabad at around 5:30 pm today.
According to initial reports, Police is firing tear gas on protestors and aerial firing gun-shots were heard dispair protestors at Tramri chowk.
The operation is expected to continue to Faizabad Interchange and Abpara Chowk as well.
Citizens are advised to stay indoors.
UPDATE: Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Taramari Chowk cleared. Few policemen got hit by stones. I have had a minor injury. The overall situation is under control. Traffic good to go. Rawat cleared on GT Road as well. Alhamdulillah
