ISLAMABAD: The Federal Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan approved construction of 1,35,000 apartments under Naya Pakistan Housing Authority across the country.
The Prime Minister Imran Khan is going to inaugurate Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme on April 17 in Islamabad and on 21 April in Quetta.
Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad hussain said that the Federal Cabinet met in Islamabad on 9th April, 2019 approved the construction of 1,35,000 apartments across the country.
25,000 apartments will be built in Islamabad for federal government employees and Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate the scheme on 17th of this month.
11,000 apartments will be constructed in Gwadar, Balochistan for fishermen.

The Government announced a low-cost housing scheme in 2018 known as “Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme“.
The Information Minister said, Nankana Sahib station to be renamed as “Baba Guru Nanak.”
All Government offices are directed to use Pakistan Post Service for official communication.
