ISLAMABAD: The Sangjani police have issued strict orders to close all hotels, guest houses, and restaurants from September 8 to September 9. The directive specifies that no accommodation, food, or other services should be provided during this period.
ahead of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally scheduled for today in the Sangjani area of Islamabad, authorities have mandated the closure of all hotels, shops, and guest houses in the vicinity. The Metro Bus service across the twin cities has also been completely suspended.

A formal notice has been distributed to businesses near the rally site, explicitly instructing them to deny any facilities to visitors. The notice, issued by the Sangjani police station, warns of legal consequences for those who fail to comply with these orders.
Additionally, the Metro Bus service, a crucial transportation link in the twin cities, has been shut down entirely as part of the security measures.
The PTI leadership has planned a major “power show” in Islamabad today, for which the administration has granted a No Objection Certificate (NOC) after imposing 40 stringent conditions.
