Protest by Trader’s Union has blocked the famous Jinnah Avenue for traffic. Traders and PTI leaders have condemned the Islamabad authorities’ move to seal Centaurus Mall claiming that it was a political revenge after criticism of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif by Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) premier, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, who owns Centaurus Mall.

The premier of AJ&K criticized Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif over his failure to mention “the sacrifices of Kashmiri people” during a speech on Monday when he inaugurated the refurbishment project of units 5 and 6 of the Mangla Dam Hydroelectric Power Plan, built on the Jhelum river in Mangla area of AJ&K.
Taking to Twitter, Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan, said, “Sealing of Centaurus Mall by PDM mafia in response to PM AJK censuring SS [Shehbaz Sharif] for not mentioning sacrifices of Kashmiris shows there is law of the jungle in Pakistan since last 8 months.”
He added, “Sends negative signals to Kashmiris too.” as he asked Honorable Judges, “Are they not upholders of the Law?”
