ISLAMABAD: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released a song as tribute to brave people of Kashmir titled Ja Chor Day Meri Waadi which translates to Leave My Valley Alone.
The song titled Ja Chor Day Meri Waadi has been released by the media Wing of the Pakistan Army a few days ahead of of 5 August 2020 which is also known as Youm-e-Istehsal, marking exactly one year since the abrogation of Artile 370 and the lockdown in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
The ISPR song, Ja Chor Day Meri Waadi speaks about the struggle of the brave people of Kashmir and their relentless efforts towards freedom and self-determination.
Ja Chor Day Meri Waadi has been sung by Pakistani singer Shafqat Amanat Ali and reminds about the struggle of Kashmir and its people who have suffered at the hands of Indian forces.
The people of Kashmir have suffered atrocities at the hands of Indian Army and these inhumane acts have been encouraged by the Hindu extremist Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his political party, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
In their song Ja Chor Day Meri Waadi for Kashmir, the ISPR states::
SPR released new Song on Youm-e-Istehsal, in solidarity with the Kashmiris. 5th Aug 20 marks one year of abrogation of Article 370 and lockdown & curfew in Indian Illegaly Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). Kashmir uprising, sufferings of Kashmiris & human rights violations by Indian Army have been highlighted.
