HYDERABAD: Justice For Ayesha – She was burnt alive by her husband, his elder brother, and two sisters. Among other atrocities Pakistani women face, domestic violence has no boundaries.
Women face all sorts of violence, physical and sexual abuse for just being who they are, for being women. While women and children are raped every day, women face brutal domestic violence by nonother then their own family.
Ayesha faced such deadly and brutal domestic violence on September 8. The incident occurred in Tilak Chari located in Hyderabad, Sindh.
Her husband Rizwan along with his elder brother Javaid and two sisters burnt her alive after she was doused with petrol.

Ayesha’s statement before dying
Ayesha was able to record her statement before dying. In her statement, she said on September 8 around 4 pm she was first mercilessly beaten up by them. She was beaten up so badly that she lost some of her teeth. After which they tried to force her to burn herself. Upon refusing they doused her with petrol and set her on fire. They burnt her alive around 5:30 pm.
Eighty percent of her body was burnt, she was taken to the hospital by them around 10:30. Only she would know how much she suffered for all that time. After taking her to the hospital they fled and haven’t been found as yet.
She was being treated in the Karachi Civil Hospital but could not survive and passed away at 1:20 am.

Ayesha’s family threatened by Rizwan
Ayesha’s husband Rizwan who is said to be the member of the political party named MQM-Pakistan kept threatening the family to prevent them from taking Ayesha’s statement.
Rizwan sent few men from Nine Zero to threaten the family.

The family of Ayesha demand Justice for Ayesha and request all the concerned authorities to arrest the culprits.
May the people who suffer at the hands of cruelty see justice served. A tooth for a tooth and an eye for an eye. Burn them alive if found guilty.
