Bahawalpur: Rape, torture and murder of a woman seems to never end. Women die every day from the barberic acts of frustrated men and the culprits manage to escape punishment. Twenty Two year old young teacher is raped and brutally murdered. Our lips are again shouting for Justice for Farwa.
Victim
A Twenty Two-Year-Old teacher identified as Farwa Shakeel. Her dead body was found with marks of severe torture.

Justice For Farwa
Accused
Seventeen-year-old, identified as Muhammad Muavia. Muavia was arrested on Monday in Machli Bazar in Bahawalpur for Kidnapping.
Her Brother Mohammad Shahzad’s Statement
Shahzad informed the police Farwa Shakeel was kidnapped from her house on September 5.
Muhammad Muavia was their neighbor and had eyes for his sister. Shakeel had warned Muavia to stay away from his sister several times but he paid no heed to it and kept bothering Farwa.
On September 5 around 5pm Farwa and there mother were at home. The mother was praying when the suspect came to the house and forced Farwa to leave with him on motorcycle.
The neighbors came out of their houses when they heard Farwa screaming and pleading for help. By the time the neighbors could act the suspect had already fled and taken her away.
Shahzad hurried home as soon as he was informed by the neighbors.

Rescue Team Found Her Body Near a Canal
Her body was discovered in Nowshera Jadeed near a canal by a rescue team. Her body was sent to Edhi Centre. Her body bore marks of torture.
Social Media was quick and active as usual and shared the pictures of her body. After which Farwa’s parents contacted Edhi.
Postmortem Examination was conducted by the authorities without the parents knowledge.
Her body was handed over to the family on Wednesday. The family fear the first postmortem report may not be legitimate. They have asked for a second postmortem.
First Information Report (FIR)
The brother of Farwa Shakeel has registered an FIR against Muavia at Kotwali police station under Section 365B (kidnapping, abducting or inducing woman to compel for marriage) of the Pakistan Penal Code. Section 365B is punishable with life imprisonment and a fine.
Confession To Murder
The teenager has confessed to the murder on Wednesday. The Police are not giving more details about the suspects confession.
The police have informed more sections will be added to the FIR after the autopsy report.
Protest By The Relatives
The relatives of Farwa staged protest to demand Justice For Farwa. The relatives believe there are more than one murderer. They now want Muavia’s father arrested as well.
