KARACHI: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a Karachi police officer over suspicion of working with the Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) earlier on Saturday.
The suspected police officer joined the Sindh police back in 1991 and he was currently serving as an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) was was a key member of the RAW sleeper cell according ot the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
The police officer was also a member of MQM London Group and also visited India in 2008 to receive his training according to FIA. He was also involved and found to be facilitating targeted killings and terrorism activities.

Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) said that he was on duty at the Karachi airport and was even facilitating his partners. FIA officials said:
The accused ASI was on surveillance duty at the Karachi airport at the time of the arrest,
Another Karachi police officer was arreste last month for allegedly working for RAW. The officer was identified as ASI Shehzad Pervaiz from Gulistan-e-Jauhar in Karachi.
According to police officials, two hand grenades were also recovered following Shehzad’s arrests. He was also said to be affiliated with MQM London and involved in several terrorist activities.
