Karachi Traffic Police has issued a detailed Traffic Plan for the processions on 5 October 2022 (8th Rabi-ul-Awal 1444 A.H.) for the convenience of the public and to help commuters avoid any congestions and delays through use of alternate routes. Furthermore, the Karachi Traffic Police has also provided maps for better understanding of the procession routes to help commuters plan ahead to avoid inconvenience.
Karachi Traffic Plan – 5 October 2022 (8th Rabi-ul-Awal)
According to the Karachi Traffic Plan, there will be two processions carried out on 8th Rabi-ul-Awal (5 October 2022) with the first one commencing at 0630hrs (06:30am) and conclude at 1000hrs (10:00am), while the second will will commence from 1300hrs (1:00pm) and conclude at 2200hrs (10:00pm).
1st Procession Route
Nishtar Park > MA Jinnah > Kharadar – The commuters are advised to use the following alternate routes, which are going to be open for traffic flow during hours of procession:
- Lyari Expressway
- Lasbela towards Nishtar Road (Garden)
- Kashmir Road & Shahrah-e-Quaideen
- Shahrah-e-Faisal
- Corridor 3
- I.I. Chundrigarh Road & Shahrah-e-Liaquat
- Mauripur Road

Rizvia Chowrangi Nazimabad > Lasbela > Teen Hatti > PIB Colony > Yadgar Fish > Jamshed Road > Martin Road
Meanwhile, the following alternate routes will be open for traffic:

- Garden to Bara Road
