The Karachi Traffic Police has issued a detailed Traffic Plan for 8th Rabi-ul-Awwal processions on 25 September 2023.
According to the Karachi Traffic Plan for 25 September 2023, there will be two processions taking place in the city.
The first procession is expected to commence at 06:30 am in the morning and end at 10:00 am. Meanwhile, the procession route will be Nishtar Park, MA Jinnah Road, and Kharadar, which will be blocked at certain points for security purposes.
There will be alternate routes available to commuters, which include:
- Lyari Expressway
- Lasbela towards Nishtar Road (Garden)
- Kashmir Road and Shahra-e-Quaideen
- Shahra-e-Faisal
- Corridor-3
- I.I. Chundrigarh Road and Shahra-e-Liaquat
- Mauripur Road
Furthermore, the second procession will take place from 1:00 pm to 10:00 am and follow Rizvia Chowrangi, Nazimabad, Lasbela, Teen Hati, PIB Colony, Yadgar Fish turning at Jamshed Road and Martin Road.
Meanwhile, the following alternate routes will be operational during the procession:
- Lyari Expressway
- Shahra-e-Faisal
- MA Jinnah Road
- Garden to Bara Board
- Corridor-3
- New MA Jinnah to University Road
