ISLAMABAD: The Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K) has been integrated in the new political map of Pakistan that was unveiled by Prime Minister Imran Khan following the approval of the federal cabinet.
This is the first time in the history of Pakistan that a map has been launched showing Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K) as part of the country’s terrority.

Prime Minister Imran while while addressing a news conference after the meeting of the federal cabinet stated:
Today is a historic day we have launched a new political map of Pakistan which is as per the aspirations of the entire nation as well as the people of Kashmir,
The new political map of Pakistan which has integrated Jammu and Kashmir opposes the Indian Government’s illegal occupation and taking away the autonomy of the region on 5th August last year according to the premier.
Prime Minister Imran Khan also stated that Pakistan will continue to make efforts for the people of Kashmir and believes that the dispute can only be resolved through political means and not military.
According to the premier, the Kashmir dispute can only be followed following the resolution of the United Nations Security Council that gives the Kashmiri people right to self-determination which has been taken away illegally by the Indian Government.
Pakistan has always thought of Kashmir as part the country and the new political map of Pakistan is the first step in that direction said the premier. Furthermore, this new map will be used in the school curriculum across the country.
The Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi also congratulated the nation and the Prime Minister for taking this unprecedented step saying:
