PEHSAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has commenced the first phase of the Sehat Sahulat Program which will facilitate around seven million people.
The program has started rolling out in Zone 1 districts and will be extended to the entire province by January 2021 according to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance and Health Minister Taimur Khan Jhagra.
Taking to Twitter, the health minister confirmed that a roll-out of the Sehat Card Plus Programme has been initiated for the mentioned districts and everyone with a KP domicile will be covered under irrespective of their location in the country.
According to the Tweet, premier Imran Khan is expected to launch the Sehat Sahulat Programme in Swat on November 6th, 2020.
It is pertinent to mention that the CNIC will serve as the Sehat Card Plus and nothing more will be required by KP citizens to claim the health benefits under this program.
Under the Sehat Sahulat Programme, citizens of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be provided with a health insurance of Rs. 1 million per family completely of any types of charges.
As stated earlier, there is no registration required and all Khyber Pakthunkhwa citizens will be automatically included under the programme.
