A positive step has been taken by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government towards modernization through an online system of obtaining domicile certificates.
Citizens can now visit the government’s website at cfc.kp.gov.pk to access the e-domicile platform aimed simplifying the application process and improves citizen convenience in all major districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Through the website, KP citizens will be able to apply for domicile certificates online through mobile devices and computers so that they can avoid visiting government offices and save precious time and avoid any unnecessary hassle.
Another important feature of the newly designed system is the collection of fingerprints from National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to ensure secure storage of applicant data and enhance overall process integrity.
The E-domicile system does not only simplify application procedure but also helps citizens to save on travelling costs and loss of time by standing in queues at government offices.
Residents have expressed their satisfaction with the online system to obtain domicile certificates. The online portal enables citizens to attach the required documents in a comprehensive and straightforward way. Furthermore, the government also has access to detailed individual information at village council and neighborhood council levels thus leading to better governance. The move by the KP government reflects its willingness to modernize services and enhance efficiency for use by their citizens.
