The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Monday launched a ‘Flood Reporting App’ in order to provide quick assistance and relief to the victims affected by the devastating flooding in the province.
According to the details, the KP Flood Reporting App has been launched on special instructions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Minister for Science and Information Technology, Atif Khan.
In a video message on Twitter, the minister said that flood victims will be able to report needed assistance such as medicine or food through the Flood Reporting App.
He added that concerned departments and the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) will ensure the provision of immediate relief to the flood victims after they report an emergency through the newly launched app.
The KP Flood Reporting App is available only for Android on the Google Play Store, however, instructions to download or use the app have been provided on the official website created by the KP Government for the flood victims.
