Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) Chief Manzoor Pashteen was granted bail on Saturday in two sedition cases by sessions court in the Tank district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Earlier he was granted bail in another similar sedition charge by the Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan) court according to PTM lawyers making it a total of three sedition cases he has been granted bail against.
MNA and PTM senior leader Mohsin Dawar has confirmed the news saysing that Manzoor Pashteen will be released after legal formalities are completed.
Manzoor Pashteen was arrested last month in Peshawar over charges of incitement and sedition and ordered to be transferred to DI Khan after a bail plea was rejected by the court.

According to Mohsin Dawar, the DI Khan court had accepted Pashteen’s bail applications in three of the five cases that were registered against him before his arrest.
According to PTM lawyer Farhad Afridi, judge at the sessions court in Tank district has granted bail to Pashteen against two personal sureties and a surety bond of Rs. 100,000.
Farhad Afridi told media:
We are trying to complete the legal formalities as soon as possible, he said, adding that if they are unable to complete the legal procedure today (Saturday) then Pashteen will be released on Monday,
According to the PTM lawyer, a PTM Jalsa (public gathering) is being held on Sunday and if Pashteen is released he will be attending joining it.
Many other PTM activists were also arrested last month but were granted bail by the Islamabad High Court two weeks ago.
They were arrested after they came on to the streets in protest of the arrest of the PTM Cheif and were booked with multiple charges that included sedition, rioting, public mischief and more.
