In Lahore and parts of Punjab, the weather is set to remain extremely hot on Friday, with heatwave-like conditions expected to develop from May 21st to May 23rd, 2024.
According to the Regional Meteorological Center in Lahore, the weather is expected to remain hot and dry in most districts on Punjab, while very hot / gusty raising winds are expected in central and southern districts of the province.
However, there are chances of rain and thunderstorms at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Kashmir, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Sargodha, Mianwali, Khushab, Bhakkar, and Noorpur Thal during the evening and night.
Partly cloudy weather conditions with rain, wind, or thunderstorms may occur in Kashmir, Murree, Galliyat, and surrounding areas during the evening and night.
In Punjab, temperatures soared, with Bahawalnagar and Okara reaching a scorching high of 46.5°C, while the cool relief of Murree offered a minimum of 16.0°C.
Meanwhile, in Kashmir, Muzaffarabad city experienced a maximum of 40.0°C, while Rawalakot provided respite from the heat with a minimum temperature of 10.0°C.
