The Regional Meteorological Center in Lahore has issued a weather update for Punjab stating that high temperatures are expected to continue, with a small chance of rain and isolated thunderstorms.
Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country, and a shallow trough of westerly wave is present over the upper regions.
Mainly hot weather is expected in most districts of the province, with very hot conditions in the southern districts. However, gusty winds and windstorms with isolated rain are likely in the following areas:
- Attock
- Chakwal
- Jhelum
- Gujrat
- Lahore
- Sialkot
- Khushab
- Sargodha
- Mianwali
Additionally, rain-thunderstorms and windstorms are expected at isolated places in Kashmir, Murree, Galliyat, and surrounding areas during the afternoon.
