Extremely hot weather has gripped Lahore and other parts of the province, and it is likely to prevail as there is no chance of rain in the next 24 hours.
According to the Regional Meteorological Center, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most districts of Punjab, while very hot weather is expected in central and southern plain districts.
Dry weather is expected in Kashmir, Murree, Galliyat, and surrounding areas as well.
In Punjab, the maximum temperature reached 43.5°C in Khanpur, while the minimum temperature was 12.0°C in Murree. In Kashmir, the maximum temperature was 37.5°C in Muzaffarabad City, with the lowest minimum temperature recorded at 8.4°C in Rawalakot.
