The Lahore City Traffic Police (CTP) has imposed a new fine of Rs. 2,000 on wrong parking and one-way violation.
The decision to impose the new traffic fine was taken on the orders of the Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore, Mustansar Feroz, during a meeting that was attended by all traffic circle officers, sector in-charge personnel, and wardens.
The CTO said that encroachments, improper parking and illegal stands are not acceptable and strict action will be taken against all types of violations. He ordered a crackdown on one-way, encroachment, and wrong parking.
He added that a traffic fine of Rs. 2,000 will discourage all motorists from breaking the law and causing inconvenience to other drivers. The CTO also ordered that a case should be registered on repeated violations.
