Lahore’s Kalma Chowk Underpass Closed Due to Construction

City Traffic Police (CTP) Lahore has announced that Kalma Chowk Underpass towards Liberty Market will remain closed due to construction work of Central Business District (CBD) Punjab and remodeling of the Underpass.

Taking to Twitter, the Lahore Traffic Police informed that commuters can take alternate route from Canal and Jail Road to approach Liberty and Main Boulevard Gulberg.

As for the commuters coming from Barkat Market to Kalma Chowk, you need to take a left towards Ferozepur Road and then make a U-Turn from Canal towards Liberty Market via Qaddafi Stadium.

The City Traffic Police has issued a Traffic Plan for commuters to avoid Kalma Chowk, which is going to remain closed due to the construction work. According to the details, the traffic coming from Ichra and Ferozepur Road towards Liberty will not be able to use Kalma Chowk, while Saint Marry Park U-Turn will also remain closed.
