The registrations for the Ehsaas Emergency Program end today, 19 April 2020 at midnight. This project is one of the biggest social security initiative in Pakistan to date providing a financial aid of Rs. 12,000 to poor and deserving families during these hard times due to coronavirus lockdown.

If you want to apply for the Ehsaas Emergency Program you can do so by sending your CNIC number to 8171 after which you will be informed about your eligibility and you will be able to proceed further. You can also use the online portal to apply for the program.

Under the Ehsas Emergency Cash Program over 4.444 million families have been paid over Rs. 53.336 billion in total as of 18 April 2020 according the Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Dr Sania Nishtar.

The Ehsaas Emergency Programme will provide Rs. 12,000 financial aid to 12 million families who deserve it with the focus on daily wage earners who are out of work because of the coronavirus lockdown.
There are thousands of payment centers set up for the Ehsas Programme throughout Pakistan that are following precautionary measures to control the spread of the virus and social distancing is being observed.
