Late Seth Abid’s Daughter Found Dead at Lahore Residence

Daughter of renowned businessman, late Seth Abid, has found dead at her Lahore residence in Muslim Town on Saturday. According to the details, Farah Mazhar was found “under mysterious circumstances” with bullet injuries on her abdomen, the reports state.

The police has taken her adopted son into custody over suspicion of foul play, however, he has denied the allegations before police and claimed that Farah Mazhar attempted suicide and he shifted her to hospital. Meanwhile, a 40-year-old maid of the victim, Razia, is also being interrogated by the police.

Furthermore, the police have recovered a weapon from the crime scene and sent it for forensic analysis. The police has stated that victim’s husband resides in the United States and all of her children, including two sons and one daughter are adopted.

Chief Minister Takes Notice

Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz Sharif has also taken notice of the incident and sought a report from Inspector General of Police. He has directed the police to arrest the suspects as soon as possible and provide justice to the victim.
