The Legendary puppeteer Farooq Qaiser was known for his character ‘Uncle Sargam’ passed away at the age of 76 on Friday in Islamabad.
According to the reports, The Pakistan Television (PTV) Icon and one of the pioneers of puppetry and arts in Pakistan Farooq Qaiser died of a cardiac arrest in Islamabad on Friday,
He was well known among the Pakistani kids of 80s and 90s due to his character Uncle Sargam in a children’s show Kaliyan.
Farooq Qaiser began his career as an artist after completing graduation from National College of Arts (NCA) in Lahore.
Lived most of his life in the capital city Islamabad and passed away on Friday 14 May, 2021 at the age of 76.
