The Lahore High Court (LHC) has temporarily extended market timings, allowing for shops to remain open until midnight due to Christmas. According to the details, the decision was taken during a hearing of a petition regarding rising air pollution in the provincial capital.
Justice Shahid Karim, Lahore High Court (LHC) judge, gave permission to business owners to extend their operating hours and keep markets open until Midnight on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Following the weekend, the restriction on market timings will be reinstated in order to combat air pollution.
