ISLAMABAD: As the coronavirus crisis is getting worse the lockdown in Pakistan has been extended by the Federal Government till 30 April.
Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a cabinet meeting on Tuesday where the decision was taken considering the increase in the number of cases and the current economic situation.
The decision has also been taken to open the construction industry along with business like plumbing, electrical services, barbers and tailoring businesses.

The National Coordination Committee meeting will be giving the final approval for the the lockdown in Pakistan to be extended.
The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan have surged past 5,800 with 100 fatalities so far. Punjab is worse affected with over 2800 cases followed by Sindh with 1,518, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 800, Gilgit Baltistan with 233, Balochistan with 231, Islamabad with 131 and Azad and Jammu Kashmir with 43 cases.
