ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has reduced the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) just in time for Ramadan.
Starting Saturday, March 1, 2025, the new LPG rate will be Rs247.82 per kilogram, a drop of Rs6.15 from the previous price.
This reduction will also affect the cost of the standard 11.8 kg domestic LPG cylinder, which will now cost Rs2,924.31—down by Rs72.57.
In February 2025, the same cylinder was priced at Rs2,996.88, making this a welcome relief for families preparing for the holy month.
This price adjustment comes as a boost for many, especially with Ramadan 2025 expected to begin soon.
Lower LPG costs will help households save on cooking and heating expenses during the fasting period. The new rates will stay in effect from March 1.
