Religious scholar Maulana Dr Adil Khan killed in Karachi

KARACHI: Prominent religious scholar Maulana Dr Adil Khan has been shot and killed in Shah Faisal area of Karachi.

Maulana Dr Adil Khan was in charge of the Jamia Farooqia International University in Karachi and according to sources was gunned down along with his driver at Shah Faisal Shah Faisal Colony No 2 near Shama Shopping Center.

The bodies of the victims have been shifted to Jinnah Hospital (JPMC) and Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has taken notice of the incident and sought a report of the incident from police officials.
