The Metro Bus Service will remain suspended in Islamabad and Rawalpindi on 3 April 2022 as a precautionary measure to avoid any untoward incident during the Session of the National Assembly the Vote of No-Confidence against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
According to a notification issued by the District Magistrate Office, the Metro Bus Service will remain suspended in the Twin Cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi for security reasons during the Session of the National Assembly.
“In order to avoid any untoward incident and strengthen the security during the Session of the National Assembly for vote of No Confidence which is scheduled to be held at Parliament House, Islamabad, it is requested that the Metro Bus Service may please be closed / suspended on 03rd April, 2022, under intimation to this office.” said the notification.

It bears mentioning that Prime Minister Imran Khan has lost the majority vote after MQM-P announced its decision to side with the Opposition for the no-confidence vote against the Premier. The no-confidence vote will be held tomorrow at the Parliament House in Islamabad on 3 April 2022.
