ISLAMABAD: Cellular / mobile phone services will remain suspended in Rawalpindi and Islamabad on 25 March 2021 from 5:00am till 2:00pm on account of the Pakistan Day Parade to be held at Shakarparian.
The federal government also announced a public holiday for Rawalpindi and Islamabad on 25 March 2021 for the Pakistan Day parade after it was postponed due to inclement weather and rain forecast for the next two days, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement on Tuesday.
Pakistan Resolution Day is celebrated every year as a national holiday in the country to commemorate the Lahore Resolution of 23 March 1940. when the Muslim League drafted a political resolution calling for establishing a separate homeland (an independent state) for the Muslims of the sub-continent.
Therefore, the authorities have announced that cellular / mobile phone services in Rawalpindi and Islamabad will remain suspended on 25 March 2021 on account of the Pakistan Day Parade.
