Mullah Baradar’s release to strengthen Pak-Afghan ties: Raheemullah

Senior analyst Raheemullah Yousafzai says release of Mullah Abdul Baradar by Pakistan will cast positive impacts on Pak-Afghan relations.

Speaking in Nuqta-e-Nazar programme on Radio Pakistan‚ he said that Afghanistan government thinks that release of Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar will help restore peace process in the country. He said that release of Taliban prisoners by the Pakistani government is an outcome of Afghan President Hamid Karzai’s visit to Pakistan.

Raheemullah Yousafzai said Afghan government’s demands are increasing but it is not possible for Pakistan to fulfill each and every demand of Afghan government.

Speaking in the programme‚ senior analyst Salim Safi said war is not the solution of any problem. He added that it has been proven that wars always fail to achieve the desired objectives and that’s why now US has initiated talks with Taliban.
