Punjab Education Minister, Dr Murad Raas, has shut down rumors about his resignation spreading on social media. According to the Education Minister, he has not resigned from his post despite the rumors on different social media platforms.
“Fake News. No I have Not resigned.” said Dr Murad Raas on Twitter. “Getting constant messages and Calls. Quite a few people that made illegal requests in the past 31/2 years couldn’t get their work done by me, they must be praying for sure.” he added putting all the rumors to rest.

It bears mentioning that Punjab Education Minister, Dr Murad Raas, also shared a screenshot of the fake Twitter account that started these resignation rumors on social media. “Fake News after Fake News by PMLN Goons.” he tweeted, while urging everyone to not believe anything until they hear it from him.

The speculations regarding the rumors about his resignation started soon after Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar tendered his resignation from his post with PML-Q leader, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, being nominated in his place by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
