The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has extended office timings by three hours in order to ensure the immediate availability of Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) in light of the upcoming general elections.
As per the details provided, NADRA has announced that applicants can obtain their ID cards by paying normal, urgent, or executive fees at NADRA offices during office hours on February 6 and 7.
It is noteworthy that the general elections are scheduled to take place on February 8, and today marks the final day of the election campaign for Election 2024. Meetings and other related activities are permitted until midnight.
Despite facing challenges, the Election Commission of Pakistan has successfully delivered 260 million ballot papers to the Returning Officers (ROs) and District Returning Officers (DROs) along with representatives from government press institutions, ensuring timely distribution.
