In a significant move to support Pakistani expatriates, the Interior Ministry has launched a new service counter at the Pakistan embassy in Riyadh. This initiative enables Pakistani citizens residing in Saudi Arabia to renew their National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) without needing to travel back to Pakistan.
Comprehensive Services at the New NADRA Office
The newly established NADRA office at the Pakistan embassy in Riyadh offers a wide range of services. Alongside NICOP renewals, the office provides services for Computerized National Identity Cards (CNIC), Child Registration Certificates (CRC), Family Registration Certificates (FRC), and Biometric Verification of Succession Certificates. These services are designed to streamline and simplify identity management for Pakistani citizens living abroad.
Mobile Registration Team for Greater Convenience
To enhance convenience, NADRA has arranged for a mobile registration team to be available on May 24 and 25, a Friday and Saturday. The team will operate from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM local time, providing a valuable opportunity for those unable to visit the embassy during regular working hours.
Commitment to Overseas Pakistani Community
The establishment of the NADRA service counter in Riyadh marks a significant step in delivering essential services to the Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia. This initiative highlights the Pakistani government’s dedication to supporting its citizens worldwide, making it easier for them to manage their identity documents and access important services.
