A court has granted physical custody of suspect Zahir Jaffar in the murder case of Noor Mukadam, the daughter of Pakistani Ex-Diplomat Shaukat Mukadam, who was murdered and beheaded in Islamabad.
According to the details, the tragic incident took place took place in Islamabad at a house in Sector F-7/4 where Noor Mukadam was shot and killed by suspect Zahir Jaffar while another person was injured in the attack.
The police produced the suspect before a duty magistrate and requested his physical remand for investigation.
The magistrate granted three-day physical remand of the suspect and directed the investigation officer to produce the suspect before the court on completion of his remand along with a progress report.
The police added that suspect Zahir Jaffar has a US citizen and planned to leave the country for America today after carrying out his plan to murder Noor Mukadam.
Furthermore, the murder weapon has been recovered from the suspect’s possession and the murder case of Noor Mukadam is being investigated from all angles, the police said.
The Ministry of Human Rights is in contact with the victim’s family and providing them necessary support, said Minister Shireen Mazari in a tweet. “MoHR is in contact with the police & we firmly stand with Noor’s family in giving them any support they need.”. she said on Twitter.

Meanwhile, the social media has been trending with hashtag #JusticeForNoor and #JusticeForNoorMukadam as is demanding immediate action against the culprit and Justice For Noor Mukadam.
