The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Price in Pakistan starting 1 November 2022.
According to the details, the OGRA has increased the price of LPG in Pakistan by Rs. 2.95 per kg from 1 November 2022.
This brings the new price of LPG to Rs. 204.17 per kilogram with a domestic cylinder of 11.8 kg now costing over Rs. 2,400.
The hike in price of the petroleum gas has brought this basic commodity out of the reach of many poor households ahead of winter as gas shortage forces citizens to rely on LPG for cooking.
Furthermore, LPG is also utilized by many food businesses due to shortage of gas during winter.
On the other hand, the Federal Government has maintained the prices of petroleum products for the next fortnight (November 1 – 15, 2022).
