A Pakistan Army helicopter crashed during an overnight mission in Quetta, Balochistan, killing at least six military personnel on board, including both pilots, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) revealed on Monday.
The crash took place in the district of Harnai, about 150 kilometers from Quetta and an investigation in currency underway. However, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) did not reveal the nature of the mission of the helicopter.
According to the details, the helicopter crash martyred one naik, two majors, and three commandos from the Special Service Group (SSG).
The causalities included Major Muneeb, Major Khurram Shahzad, Subedar Wahid, Naik Jalil, Sepoy Imran, and Sepoy Shoaib.
Responding to the news, the prime minister tweeted he was deeply grieved, and prayed for the deceased and their family members.

The latest incident comes weeks after a helicopter carrying a top general and five other soldiers crashed in Balochistan during a flood-related operation because of a technical fault, killing everyone on board.
