Pakistan Railways has announced a 30 percent discount on tickets in train fares for Eid-ul-Azha in order to facilitate passengers traveling to their hometown to celebrate the occasion.
According to the notification issued by Pakistan Railways, the discount on ticket prices will be applicable on all passenger trains during the three days of Eid-ul-Azha.
Furthermore, Pakistan Railways has started Eid bookings on the discounted rates.
Three Special Trains on Eid-ul-Azha
Pakistan Railways has announced three special trains on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, which will be operated on multiple routes. According to the details, the first train would operate on July 8 from Quetta to Peshawar via Multan and Lahore.
The second special train would operate between Karachi and Lahore on the same day, while the third train will leave Lahore for Karachi on July 13 to ensure all passengers heading to and from their hometown to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha are facilitated.
