LAHORE: Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed said that the eight trains will be discontinued from 25th March and the decision has been taken on the Sindh Government’s request.
The Pakistan Railways has decided to suspend eight train services to the financial hub of Pakistan (Karachi) in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID19).

Railways Minister also said that the financial situation of the Railways is not Good enough to refund money to the passengers, however alternate arrangements are being made.
Note, there is a possibility that Pakistan Railways fully halts the Passenger train operations across the country in coming weeks in the wake of Coronavirus pandemic as Government Of Pakistan ordered people to stay at home and avoid public gatherings.
Currently, Passengers are being screened at Lahore Station and other major stations.
So far, Pakistan Railways has not designated any Quarantine Facility at any of their hospitals for curtail the coronavirus patients nor the employees/staff are being tested.
