Pakistan Railways will resume operations from tomorrow (16 May 2021) after the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) has given permission to start operations for public transport.
However, it bears mentioning that the Pakistan Railways will operate with 70 percent occupancy to avoid spread of the COVID-19 virus.
The decision was taken at the meeting of the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) held in Islamabad under the Federal Minister for Development and Planning Asad Umar.

Furthermore, the bus services across Pakistan will maintain only 50 percent occupancy, said the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC).
