LAHORE: Pakistan Railways has released a notification stating that train operations will be restored to full capacity and booking will be done at 100 percent occupancy starting 9 August 2020.
The notification by Pakistan Railways states that all running trains across the country will be restored to full occupancy and train booking will take place at 100 percent occupancy following months of closure and operating at limited capacity to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
This decision comes as the government starts lifting lockdown restricts in the country allowing businesses to operate more freely in terms of timings subject to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Recently, the National Coordination Commitee (NCC) allowed restaurants to continue their dine-in services under strict standard operating procedures (SOPs) and allow reopening of other sectors like cinemas and salons.

Furthermore, Islamabad Administration issued a notification last night allowing businesses to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week after months of restrictions following the outbreak of the coronavirus in Pakistan back in March.
According to the notification, these businesses include shopping malls, markets and the construction sector.
