The world’s youngest Microsoft-Certified Software Engineer in 2009, Babar Iqbal, has been booked for two murders in Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Qayyumabad Cantt Police Station registered a First Information Report (FIR) against Babar Iqbal on the request of the victim’s son, Mohammad Sajid, who told the police that his father Mohammad Arshad and another person named Amanullah were attacked and killed at a construction site by the accused.
According to the details, Babar Iqbal’s family was engaged in a land dispute and he took matters into his own hands and opened fire on the laborers working at the construction site, killing two people, including Mohammad Arshad and Amanullah.
The accused has reportedly fled with his mother and sister following the incident and police has launched an investigation into the matter.
It is pertinent to mention that Babar Iqbal became the Youngest Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) at the age of 10 and the Youngest Microsoft Student Partner (MSP) at the age of 11, while he also became the Youngest Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in NET 3.5 at the age of 12 years.
