MIRPUR: Five members of a family lost their lives and nine were injured when a passenger van fell into a deep ravine on Sunday in the Panjora area of Azad Jammu Kashmir.
The injured have been shifted to Divisional Headquarters Teaching Hospital Mirpur and are being provided with medical aid.
The family was heading to Nakial from Gujranwala, where they had gone to attend a funeral.
The police said that the reason behind the accident was speeding, which resulted in the death of three women and two men on the spot.
