The Petrol Prices in Pakistan will remain unchanged from 1 November 2021 till 15 November 2021 on the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan, who rejected the summary of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) in order to provide relief to the general public.
According to the announcement, the Petrol Price in Pakistan will remain unchanged at Rs. 137.79 per liter for the first half of November 2021 and the High-Speed Diesel (HSD) Price in Pakistan will also remain unchanged at Rs. 134.48 per liter. Similarly, Kerosene Price will also remain at Rs. 110.26 and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) will remain at Rs. 108.35 per liter.

It is pertinent to mention that OGRA has proposed an increase the Petrol Price by Rs. 11.53 per liter and the High-Speed Diesel (HSD) Price by Rs. 8.49 per liter. It also recommended a hike of Rs. 6.29 per liter and Rs. 5.72 per liter in the Price of Kerosene Oil and Light Diesel Oil (LDO).
Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken the decision to reject his summary recommending the increase in the Petrol Prices in Pakistan in order to provide relief to the public amid rising inflation in the country.
It bears mentioning, the Federal Government announced a massive increase in the Petrol Prices for the remainder of October 2021. Furthermore, it was earlier being reported that the Federal Government was planning to provide cheap petrol for motorcycle, rickshaws and public transport to provide relief to the lower and middle class citizens in the country.
